Bit of BBC news...

Russian Scientists to clone woolly mammoth?!
So apparently some Russian scientists have found thigh bone that contains well preserved marrow cells of the species, and using a cow as a surrogate mother, they hope bring back this amazing animal. Skeptical? So am I! But who knows, if they could do this, maybe they could they bring back other Late Pleistocene species, like the Sthenurus (giant kangaroo) or even the Thylacoleo Carnifex (marsupial lion)?! The possibilities could be endless...
